Managing Director, West Division, CBRE Hotels Advisory
Brandon Feighner is a Managing Director of the West Division practice with CBRE Hotels Advisory, a part of CBRE, Inc. (NYSE:CBRE), the World’s largest real estate services company. He assists in managing the Los Angeles office. With nearly two decades of professional experience in the hospitality industry, he offers expertise in strategic asset advisory assignments, acquisition and disposition due diligence, market and economic feasibility studies, complex asset and business valuation assignments, economic impact studies, litigation support, property tax appeals, and development and operational planning. His consulting engagements cover all asset types including hotels, resorts, golf courses, conference centers, condominium hotels and the shared-ownership industry. Mr. Feighner holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona’s Collins College of Hospitality Management, graduating magna cum laude in 2005. He has spoken at industry events in the region and is regularly quoted in local and national media on hospitality and tourism topics. He is a member of various professional and community organizations, including currently serving as Treasurer of the Collins Hospitality Society Alumni Board of the Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona. Prior to joining CBRE Hotels, Mr. Feighner worked for Hilton Hotels in Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa. He is a frequent guest lecturer at university-level hotel school programs and related industry events. Wendy Kheel is acknowledged for expertise in tourism research, data, trends and marketing strategy and for her presentations at a wide range of travel industry conferences and seminars. As Vice President of Tourism Insights for the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, she oversaw all tourism-related research and data analysis enabling the organization and its members to formulate well-informed marketing and sales plans and make fact-based business decisions.
Prior to LA Tourism, she was Director, Consumer Insights at Universal Studios Hollywood where she established and managed an internal consumer research department that designed, executed, and analyzed research influencing the strategic, operational, and marketing objectives for the theme park.
She was Director of Market Research at Walt Disney Imagineering and Senior Manager at two hospitality-industry consulting firms: Laventhol & Horwath in Los Angeles and PKF Consulting (now CBRE) in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
She is a former two-term Travel and Tourism Research Association board member and on the advisory research committees for VisitCalifornia, the US Travel Association, and Brand USA.
She has a Masters of Hotel Administration from Cornell University, an MBA from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Speech from Northwestern University.
